Story
Hi there,
I have been selected to participate in the 2017 NSW Police Legacy Kokoda Trek in remembrance of all deceased NSW Police Force Officers. Most of you know that my dad was a Senior Constable in the NSW Police Force and sadly passed away when I was 10 years old. He was a really top bloke that is deeply missed. I am fortunate enough to take part in this amazing adventure in April this year to trek Kokoda. This is an important goal for me as I feel honoured to be able to do this as part of continuing my father's legacy as I know this is an achievement he would be very proud of.
I'm raising funds to enable a group of legatees to participate in the trek as well as ensure that the Kokoda Trek program continues for future Police Legatees.

The Trustee For NSW Police Legacy
NSW Police Legacy is the NSW Police Force Charity. Established in 1987 it was initially founded to support the bereaved families following the loss of their loved one. Now, our support extends to include police officers and their families experiencing challenging times in their lives. Our police family has grown to include not only families suffering from loss and grief, but those experiencing misfortune that require extra support. Our committment is to build on the care and support of serving and retired police officers and their families during times of tragedy and need with financial assistance, emotional support and networking opportunities so they are never forgotten. http://www.policelegacynsw.org.au/
